Content Writer - Accounting | Tax | Entity Formation

The Winston CPA Group is not your average CPA firm. While we do the consulting, taxes, and debits & credits, our firm is intentional with education and knowledge sharing.

Our firm focuses on 3 service pillars:

  1. Client Accounting, Advisory, & Tax

  2. Technical Writing & Content Creation

  3. Financial Education & Career Consulting

We’re expanding our writing division to bring on individuals with an interest in contributing to the creation of blogs and content relevant to the accounting & tax space. This can include researching assigned topics, adding images, and editing in accordance with content guidelines.

Our audience is usually looking for answers to accounting and tax topics.  Our goal is to educate them and explain complex things in a simple way. Small business owners and professionals often ask us about: entity formation, small business accounting, tax planning, and business credit.

You’ll receive an outline of the topic. We expect you to provide context and clarity in a way that engages the reader.

The keys to success in this role are:

  • A passion for or interest in writing and creating content

  • Keen attention to details and deadlines

  • A client-centric sense of urgency on deliverables

  • Proactively communicate with the firm’s staff on your deliverables and availability

  • Industry knowledge and/or experience is helpful but not a dealbreaker.

The Writer’s role will start as part-time and ramp up in line with demand. Pay is per-post and commensurate with experience.
