CPA Exam Credit Extensions Will Expire Soon. See if Yours Will Carry Over to 2021.

What a year 2020 has been!

This year has been a major struggle for CPA candidates having exams postponed and even cancelled in some cases. It’s hard enough studying for the CPA exam but to do that in a pandemic?! That’s tough.

I heard all the stories from candidates about not feeling motivated to study during the pandemic and needing a break from everything. In episode 16 of The WERKin’ Mommas podcast, I shared some simple ways to find motivation as you make your way to CPA in these unprecedented moments.

Kudos to all of you who kept going despite all that’s happening. You’re almost there - I see you and I’m cheering for you!

The extensions that NASBA and the AICPA granted for exam credits and NTSs are set to expire this December 31st.

Some jurisdictions like Minnesota, Puerto Rico, and Connecticut have already extended CPA exam credits through next year.

So here’s 3 reasons why I’m sharing this post:

  1. First to keep you informed about changes impacting you as a CPA candidate. NASBA has a list of the jurisdictions that have provided extensions. Check your state here:

  2. Second, I feel a certain type of way about losing credit. Having lost my fair share of credits over some fluke sh*t. . . but I’m not bitter. #ItsAboveMeNow😆

  3. Third, I’m curious about where you are with the CPA exam. Are you studying? Have you taken a break from exams? Or did you say F it and quit altogether?

Comment and let me know what your current situation is with the CPA exam.

Happy holidays!
